It is distributed across platforms such as YouTube, Amazon Fire, Samsung, LG, and digital radio.

The Role:

As a Multicam Operator reporting to the Visual Operations Manager, you will provide high-quality output for the station, ensuring the visualization of Talk continues to grow and excel. The role requires focus in a lively control room or newsroom, with shift work including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Vision mixing in a live broadcast environment
  • Creating visual content and managing projects
  • Copying text onto screen graphics accurately
  • Liaising with the Visual News Producer/Editor and managing assets
  • Ensuring presenters are framed correctly and output quality is maintained
  • Adhering to compliance issues including Ofcom and reporting restrictions
  • Enhancing visuals to a high standard
  • Reporting technical issues promptly
  • Monitoring breaking news and stories
  • Maintaining Multicam’s efficiency, including server reboots and storage management
