The Role:

As a Multicam Operator reporting to the Visual Operations Manager, you will provide high-quality output for the station. Your focus will be on visualising Talk as it grows and elevates its presence. The role requires laser-like focus in a lively control room environment and involves shift work, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

1. Vision mixing in a live broadcast environment
2. Visual content creation and project management
3. Copying text onto screen graphics accurately
4. Liaising with the Visual News Producer/Editor and managing assets
5. Ensuring presenters are framed correctly and monitoring output
6. Adhering to compliance issues including Ofcom and reporting restrictions
7. Enhancing visuals to achieve a high standard
8. Reporting technical issues promptly
9. Monitoring breaking news and stories
10. Maintaining Multicam’s efficiency, including server reboots and storage management
