Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Multi-Trader to work on customer sites in Reading, offering a salary of £35,000–£40,000 with overtime and a company van. You will perform plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance work across a range of building services, with training and progression opportunities.

The role requires attending sites, diagnosing issues, and delivering high-quality repairs while complying with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing background with carpentry experience in general maintenance or multi-trade work.
• Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel locally as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites.
• Plumbing repairs, maintenance and fault finding.
• General building maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Basic electrical, mechanical and carpentry tasks where required.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
• Working directly with customers and providing a professional service.
• Completing maintenance work to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.
