Job summary

TCS Contracts is seeking a Multi Trader/Plumber to join our team at HMP Feltham. The role focuses on plumbing maintenance, repairs, and general multi-trade work across a secure prison estate, ensuring safety and high workmanship standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm. The position offers long-term, stable work with opportunities within the public sector estate, and support with prison security clearance if required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair works.
• Multi-trade experience within maintenance environments.
• Ability to carry out a range of general building maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to undergo vetting clearance - Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on plumbing and drainage systems.
• Undertake general multi-trade duties including basic carpentry, painting, patch plastering, tiling, and general maintenance works.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Complete job sheets, reports, and associated documentation accurately.
• Work safely and follow all prison security procedures.
• Liaise with site management and other trades to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi Trader / Plumber to join our team working within the prison estate. The role involves carrying out a range of plumbing maintenance, repairs, and general multi-trade works across secure facilities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Important Information
