Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking an experienced Multi Trader (Carpentry/Plumbing bias) to cover London postcodes BR, CR and SW. The role offers up to £38,000 per year in a hands-on maintenance position within Hyde’s homes.

You’ll perform multi-trade repairs, manage a own workload, and deliver first-time fixes while maintaining customer service in customers’ homes. Healthy safety practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across carpentry, plumbing and plastering.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Customer-friendly attitude and good communication.
• Experience in social housing is a bonus.
• Valid Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance.
• Fixing day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring.
• Completing patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and finishing works.
• Working on your own jobs but with other trades when needed.
• Following work orders and reporting progress and materials used.
• Working safely at all times and following Hyde’s health and safety procedures.
• Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.
