Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi Trader in Luton to perform carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating across domestic/social housing projects. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs to a high standard and ensure work is finished to schedule.

The contract is temp to perm with a 42.5 hour week, paid at £22 per hour CIS, with a van and fuel card provided. The ideal candidate will have experience as a multi-trader in social housing, broad trade skills, a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-trader in domestic/social housing or council repairs.
• Good all‑round skills across multiple trades.
• Full UK driver’s license.
• Ability to carry out repairs and maintenance to a high standard.

• Carry out repairs and maintenance across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating).
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Make good after works completed.

• Carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance works across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard
• Making good after works completed
• Attending properties and ensuring all work is completed within agreed timeframes
• Providing excellent customer service when working in tenanted properties
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations

Requirements

• Experience working as a multi trader within domestic/social housing/council property repairs
• Good all-round skills across multiple trades
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full UK driver’s license
• Ability to carry out repairs and maintenance works to a high standard
