Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a Multi Trader - Repairs Specialist to join our maintenance team in Tower Hamlets, covering North and East London postcodes. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance to ensure our housing stock remains in top condition.

The ideal candidate will work autonomously and with others, use a wide range of tools, and uphold safety standards. A valid driving licence and social housing experience are desirable requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance.
• Proficiency with a range of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of trade-specific techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical fitness for manual labour.
• Experience in social housing is desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct carpentry tasks: construct, install, repair wooden structures.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Address general maintenance issues including plastering and tiling.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects.

Multi Trader - Repairs Specialist

Location : Tower Hamlets- covering North and East London postcode areas

Salary : Up to £38,000

Hyde is looking to recruit a Multi Trade Repairs Specialist.

As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance. This role requires a versatile professional who can address a range of property needs efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall well-being of our customers by ensuring the quality and functionality of our housing units.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting carpentry tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures.
• Performing plumbing repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Addressing general maintenance issues, including plastering, tiling, and other tasks as required.
