Job summary

Peacock Sourcing Limited is recruiting a Multi-Trader to join a well-established client in Southwest London, with duties spanning plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical work across commercial and domestic properties.

You must be self-employed or willing to become so, be reliable or punctual, and able to travel between sites in central London. The role offers 35 hours per week, with pay £20–£25 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Handyman/Multi-Trader using hand tools on commercial or domestic property with strong background in plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Electrical work certification is advantageous.
• Experience with pest control such as removal of bedbugs is advantageous.
• Good manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination and a positive attitude.
• Good level of English both written and spoken.
• Be punctual, arrive to work on time and be reliable and honest.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Be currently registered as self-employed or willing to become so.
• Willing to travel between job sites within central London.
• Live in London and able to start ASAP.

Peacock Sourcing Limited are currently recruiting for Multi-Trader to work for their well-established client based in Southwest London.

In this role you will join a rapidly expanding business that offers a wide range of carpentry/ maintenance based services to businesses and home within central London, and with a busy year ahead our client is in desperate need of a competent Multi-Trader.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience as a Handyman/ Multi-Trader using hand tools working on commercial or domestic property with a strong background doing plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• If you are certified to carry out electrical work, this is advantageous.
• If you have experience with pest control such as removal of bedbugs, this is advantageous.
• Good manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination and a positive attitude.
• Good level of English both written and spoken.
• Be punctual, arrive to work on time and be both reliable and honest.
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Be currently registered as self-employed or at least be willing to become so.
• Willing to travel between jobs sites within central London.
• The candidate should also live in London and be able to start ASAP.

Working Hours

Mon - Fri (35 hours per week guaranteed)

Pay

£20 - 25 per hour (Pay is based on experience)

Duties

As a Multi-Trader you will be responsible for carrying out property maintenance work such as (plumbing, various carpentry tasks along with painting & decorating and electrical work)

As our client also provides services to surrounding businesses and homes within central London the successful candidate will be required to be involved in this side of the business as well. (The client will cover any travel expenses)

As a Multi-Trader you will also be expected to carry out pest control, particularly removal of bedbugs.

This contract is open ended as the business is rapidly expanding and ramping up work over the coming monthds, it should be noted that this role offers significant opportunities for growth inside the business as it expands.
