Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Roofer to install solar PV systems and perform various roofing tasks. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, a proven track record in roofing maintenance, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. A full UK driving licence is essential. Role: Multi Trade Roofer
Location:Cambridge
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent or Contract
Salary: £34,067 per year + OTE

Key Responsibilities for theMulti Trade Roofer

• Install Solar PV and complete associated works
• Diagnose and repair roofing issues
• Survey and position slates and tiles accurately
• Remove and replace roof coverings on various roof types
• Re-bed and renew ridge and hip tiles
• Repair or replace lead valleys
• Rebuild, repair, and repoint chimney stacks, including chimney pot work
• Repair mineral felt and asphalt flat roofs
• Install and repair lead flashing and lead upstands
• Provide excellent customer service, following instructions, drawings, and measurements

Requirements for theMulti Trade Roofer

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in roofing (or time-served experience)
• Proven ability across all aspects of roofing, including maintenance on domestic and high-rise properties
• Familiarity with general roofing work and confined spaces
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools preferred
