About Us

Ferris UK Ltd has a mission to bring real customer service to construction. Working almost exclusively in the insurance repair market, employees are part of a rapidly expanding team with an excellent reputation.

We specialize in working with clients to reinstate homes damaged by fire and flood, across domestic homes, schools, and Grade II listed buildings.

With a well-established Trades Division, our Multi-trades Engineers are supported by a team of individual trades professionals who often carry out large quantities of plastering, decorating, carpentry, and plumbing works.

Our multi-trades team often attends locations initially to guide the strip-out team, ensuring work is carried out sympathetically. After the property is stripped out, the multi-trade engineer returns to install new kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, etc.

About You

As this is a hands-on role, we seek someone with experience across various trades disciplines including:

• Ceramic tiling: floors and walls
• Plumbing: copper pipe work, reinstallation in single rooms
• Kitchen units: removal and installation of new units
• Mitre worktops
• Carpentry: fitting laminate flooring, hanging doors, scribing architrave

Requirements:

• Ability to get along with customers and team members
• Team player capable of working independently or in groups
• Desire to learn, progress, and mentor others by sharing experience

Salary & Benefits

• £31,000 to £35,000 base salary (DOE)
• Full-time employment with monthly pay
• Holiday entitlement increases with service (up to 5 extra days after 5 years)
