Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Multi Trade Plumber to cover Guildford and surrounding areas on a temporary basis. The role involves reactive plumbing repairs and multi-trade works within occupied social housing properties, 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday. Contract is 3 months with a day rate of £180–£200.

You will be supplied with a company van, a fuel card and a handheld device for workload management. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence are preferred, plus strong customer

Multi Trade Plumber - Guildford & Surrounding Areas

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Multi Trade Plumbers to work with a leading Social Housing Contractor on a temporary basis, covering Guildford and the surrounding areas. This is a 3-month ongoing contract offering a competitive day rate of £180-£200 per day, depending on experience.

Successful operatives will be required to work within occupied social housing properties, carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance alongside associated multi-trade works.

Duties Include

• Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults including leaks, taps, toilets, showers, pipework and drainage issues
• Completing associated multi-trade works such as basic carpentry, patch plastering, tiling and making good following plumbing repairs
• Identifying issues and carrying out effective first-time fixes where possible
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Accurately updating job information using handheld technology
• Working independently and managing a busy workload

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Plumber within social housing, maintenance or repairs
• Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred)
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
• Own tools preferred (where required)
