GreenSquareAccord now provides over 25,000 homes to more than 54,000 people, delivers over 3 million hours of care annually, and has a geographical reach from Newcastle upon Tyne to Salisbury, Wiltshire. We have a staff team of approximately 4,000 people.

The GreenSquareAccord story is about building better lives. We are committed to building more homes and providing more care and support to more people, while delivering locally-focused services to those who need them most.

Everything we do is centered around people—whether that`s providing safe, quality homes, helping individuals live independently, or addressing social injustice and equality.

Our vision is to be an organisation where people enjoy happiness, health, and prosperity.

About the role

We are recruiting multiple full-time Multi Trade Operatives to join our Trades team on a permanent basis.

You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard, responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements efficiently and economically, in accordance with current practices, health and safety legislation, and good practice.

By working professionally, respectfully, and courteously, you will deliver excellent customer service, meet objectives, and achieve behavioral competencies.

Please note that successful candidates will require a DBS check. Further details will be provided after an offer is made.

About you

You must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair, and refurbishment operations, or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Prior experience in social housing is beneficial.

You must hold a Full UK Driver's License, as travel to multiple locations will be required. Transport will be provided.

You will undertake routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs across trades such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Tiling, and Roofing.

It is essential to ensure the safe and proper use of all plant and equipment under your control.

You should be able to plan, prioritize, and manage your workload effectively, meet deadlines, and use hand-held electronic devices efficiently.

Note: Evidence of required certificates and qualifications must be provided before employment commencement.
