£34,376 - £36,185 per year

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Day-to-Day repairs team in Ipswich. The role involves carrying out repairs to our properties, covering all aspects of general building repairs and maintenance, including doors and windows. It is mainly lone working with opportunities to collaborate with the wider team and share out-of-hours call outs on a rota basis. The role includes a company van and tools, covering sites across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk.
Applicants must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical). For plumbing roles, Level 3, Unvented - G3 Certificate, and Water Regulations (WRAS) are required. Original certification must be brought to the interview; copies and CSCS cards are not accepted.
Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
Skills in disciplines such as carpentry, bricklaying, plastering.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and plan ahead.
This role involves driving a company vehicle; candidates must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

Starting salary is £34,376 per annum, rising to £36,185 after 12 months, subject to performance.
