Job Title: Multi Trade Operative

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

We are seeking experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join the responsive repairs team of a reputable local contractor, providing high-quality maintenance services across social housing properties in Basildon, Essex.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
• Installing, repairing, and replacing doors, windows, skirting boards, and other wooden fixtures.
• Addressing minor plumbing issues such as fixing leaks, replacing taps, and fitting pipework.
• Patch repairs, skimming walls, and applying finishes where needed.
• Performing wall and floor tiling, including grouting and re-sealing.
• Preparing surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes.
• Fitting and repairing vinyl, laminate, and carpet tiles.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing, or a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
