Job summary

Pertemps TM in Eastleigh is seeking a Multi Trade Operative – Kitchen Fitter to deliver a high‑quality repairs service within a housing environment. The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, initially 12 weeks temporary with a view to permanent employment.

You’ll perform carpentry, plumbing and related trades across properties, maintaining safety and customer satisfaction as a top priority. You must hold a minimum NVQ level 2 (or time‑served experience), have a clean driving licence and be able

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ level 2, or time served in carpentry, masonry or plumbing.
• Experience with a range of carpentry and plumbing tasks across properties.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Fault fixing, maintenance and repair to customer properties.
• Completing carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks multiskilled.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to communicate progress.
• Assess and carry out works for tenants.
• Ensure works comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver works on time and first time where possible.
• Use a Schedule of Rates for job costing repairs.
• Be available to cover out of hours emergency calls as needed.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and records accurately.
• Procure job-related materials through main suppliers.
