Multi Trade Joiner - Social Housing

About Our Client

A large housing association responsible for managing and maintaining over 25,000 properties in the North West of England.

Job Description

  1. You will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in social housing.
  2. The majority of repairs will be in Carpentry/Joinery; however, you will be required to carry out other basic repairs in plumbing, plastering (patching), and decorating.
  3. Works will be carried out in occupied properties; therefore, good customer service skills will be required.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Previous experience working in a similar maintenance role is required - specifically in social housing.
  2. You must have at least NVQ Level 2 (or Equivalent) in carpentry and joinery.
  3. You must have a clean driving license.
  4. You must have your own basic tools.

  1. Initial 3-month temporary contract starting ASAP, with the possibility to extend/become permanent.
  2. Competitive pay rates; up to £24.00 per hour (various payment methods available).
