Job summary

Protocol is seeking a Construction Technician in Cambridge on a long-term temporary basis with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The role involves supporting multiple trades on active site environments and progressing across various construction activities.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of £16.00 to £18.00, with long-term work and opportunities to gain experience across trades and possibly secure a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Experience working with trades such as carpenters and bricklayers would be advantageous.
• CSCS card is preferred but not essential depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople across a range of construction activities.
• Supporting site operations to ensure projects run efficiently.
• Carrying out general construction and labouring duties.
• Moving materials, tools, and equipment around site.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Undertaking additional duties as required by site management.
