Job summary

New Forest District Council is seeking a Multi Trade Carpenter to join our in-house team. You will perform 2nd fix carpentry and support broader repairs within social housing, delivering quality workmanship across void and reactive tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2nd fix carpentry including flooring, doors, mouldings, kitchens and fittings.
• Ability to work with related trades to support repairs (plumbing, plastering, vinyl flooring, locksmiths).
• Commitment to health and safety guidelines and high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry work including 2nd fix tasks such as flooring, doors, mouldings, glazing and fencing.
• Support a wide range of repairs by bringing skills from related trades.
• Deliver Void and Reactive repairs to social housing stock and maintain quality workmanship.
