Multi Trade - Carpenter/Plumber

Resourcing Group are actively recruiting for a Multi Trader with a Plumbing or Carpentry core trade, to work on behalf of a regional maintenance contractor assisting with undertaking repairs & maintenance and bathroom & kitchen fitting related works on Local Authority properties in Cheltenham.

The Multi Trade Operative role:

1. Previous experience on Repairs & Maintenance or Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting contracts.
2. Undertaking multi trade work in occupied, residential properties to complete second fix work including joinery works, some Plumbing, and patch Plastering.
3. The work is primarily lone working with the support and guidance of a Foreperson and Contract Manager.
4. The ability to work professionally and considerately within people's homes in a customer-facing environment, always considering yours and others' Health and Safety.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?

1. Qualified to an NVQ 2 level is desired or time served, in a core internal trade.
2. Experience in residential maintenance and repairs work is essential, experience of working as a Multi Trader, specifically with basic carpentry expertise.
3. Excellent customer service skills and strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in the professional environment, with the ability to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable in your company.
4. Possession of a full current UK Driving license and Van is essential to complete the Multi Trade Operative role. A company van will be provided if you opt for permanent employment.

Package:

1. Competitive initial rates between £18 - £22 while on temp-to-perm.
2. Permanant salaries between £35,600 to £38,000 depending on experience.
3. Full time, 5 day working week and option for optional overtime.
4. Immediate start dates & Temp-to-Perm options available.
5. CIS/PAYE Umbrella payment options available.
6. Company funded qualifications and courses, if required.
