Job description

Various opportunities are available with this refurbishment and fit-out Main Contractor based in Baldock, North Hertfordshire. Their coverage area extends from the city of London up the A1 Corridor to Peterborough, primarily focusing on North London and the surrounding three counties. They offer a wide variety of work at all times, including Fit-out, Refurbishment, and New-Build projects across Commercial, Education, Leisure & Hospitality, Heritage, and Industrial Sectors.

Position Requirements

The contractor is seeking:

1. Fully Skilled Multi Trade Operative - To undertake all types of internal and external commercial refurbishment.
2. Partitioners - Knowledge of all types of metal stud and track, traditional timber stud, and different system types (e.g., Komfort, Tenon) is advantageous.
3. Carpenters - Mainly 2nd fix work, with some 1st fix required. All installations are completed to a high standard.
4. Ceiling Fixers - Knowledge of various ceiling types (Suspended grid, MF, Burgess, etc.).
5. General Builders/Multi Trade - Groundworks including drainage and concrete, brickwork, structural alterations.
6. Decorator - Experience in all aspects of commercial decorating.
7. Multi Skilled Tradesperson - Capable of internal refurbishment tasks, including carpentry, ceiling fixing, partitioning, and floor laying.

Additional Information

All contracts are long-term. They seek individuals who can integrate into their team and are interested in regular contract work. Most work is priced, but an agreed day rate can also be negotiated. Vans may be supplied to suitable applicants depending on availability. Very competitive rates of pay are offered on all contracts.
