Job summary

Anakin Seal Legal Recruitment is recruiting an experienced injury lawyer for its Liverpool team. The role focuses on intermediate and multi-track Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims with a varied caseload and major retail and corporate clients.

You will work in a hybrid setup, with one day per week in the Liverpool office. The successful candidate will bring proven EL/PL litigation experience, strong liability understanding and excellent client management skills, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling litigated EL and PL claims.
• Strong understanding of liability, causation and quantum.
• Ability to manage cases from instruction through to resolution.
• Excellent client management, negotiation and reporting skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of EL/PL claims from instruction to resolution.
• Advise clients and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
• Contribute to a busy, hybrid working team with care and accuracy.

Role overview

A leading national insurance law firm is looking to recruit an experienced injury lawyer its specialist EL/PL team based in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload of Intermediate and Multi-Track Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, acting for a range of major retail and corporate clients. You'll manage predominantly litigated matters valued between £25,000 and £100,000, while benefiting from a highly flexible working arrangement with only one day per week required in the Liverpool office.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

• Proven experience handling litigated EL and PL claims.
• Strong understanding of liability, causation and quantum.
• Ability to manage cases from instruction through to resolution.
• Excellent client management, negotiation and reporting skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues is desirable.
• Retail liability experience would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
