This is a full-time on-site role for a Multi-skilled Trade/Carpenter located in Shrewsbury. The Multi-skilled Trade/Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including installing structures and fixtures, measuring and cutting materials to the required specifications, and ensuring accuracy in all work completed. The role will also involve repairing and maintaining existing buildings, all aspects of plastering , working with other trades as necessary, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong carpentry skills, including installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures
  • Ability to measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials accurately
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
