Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a hands-on HGV Driver and Technician in Rainham for a permanent, full-time role. The position combines tanker driving with high-pressure jetting, spill clean-ups and groundworks, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will perform tank installations and inspections, support emergency response teams, and gain training up to national grid and rail standards. A competitive salary accompanies this varied, field-based role.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required; ADR preferred but not essential.
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• Experience of Tacho and vehicle checks (training can be provided).
• A flexible, can-do attitude – some overtime & call-outs required.
• Background in multi-skilled trade work (plant operation experience is a bonus).
• Willingness to work away when needed – hotels & travel covered.
