Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a hands-on HGV Operative/Technician in Tunbridge Wells for a permanent full-time position. The role combines tanker driving with groundworks, spill cleanup and installation tasks in a dynamic environment.

You will perform high-pressure jetting, tank uplifts, and inspections while supporting emergency response teams and training to national grid and rail standards. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required (ADR preferred but not essential).
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• Experience with tachographs and vehicle checks.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with some overtime & call-outs.
• Background in multi-skilled trades; plant operation experience is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel/ stay away with hotels and travel covered.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Looking for a hands-on, high-impact role where every day is different? We’re hiring a HGV Driver and Technician that isn't afraid to get stuck in on the additional hands on tasks! If you have experience in HGV Class 2 and groundworks or remediation and a knack for problem-solving, we want you on board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Tanker driving – operating company vehicles (HGV/Class 2)
• High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups
• Groundworks, remedial works and Tank uplifts
• Tank/interceptor installation, servicing, and inspections
• Spill response and industrial cleaning duties
• Supporting emergency response teams when duty calls
• Training up to national grid & rail standards

Qualifications

What We Need From You:

• HGV Class 2 licence (ADR preferred but not essential)
• Experience with RAMS documentation
• Experience of Tacho and vehicle checks (training can be provided)
• A flexible, can-do attitude – some overtime & call-outs required
• Background in multi-skilled trade work (plant operation experience is a bonus!)
• Willingness to work away when needed – hotels & travel covered
