• Minimum HNC or BTEC Electrical Qualification required.
• At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a Multi-skilled Maintenance role and working with breakdowns and PPMs.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the production team and ensuring machinery downtime is minimal.
• Completing reactive maintenance and PPMs daily.
• Working within a continuous improvement plan.

Elevation have the pleasure of working with container manufacturing business based in the Worksop area. My client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, to join their well established team with immediate effect.

Salary: £44,766
Location: Worksop
Hours: Days and nights shift pattern- no weekends!

Duties of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Liaisingwith production team
• Working within a manufacturing company, you must be adaptable to this environment
• Working to a continuous improvement plan to make the business and machinery the best it can be
• Completing reactive maintenance and PPMs on a daily basis
• Completing relevant paperwork in line with ISO’s
• Ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum
• Install, maintain, test and examine site machinery
• Understand and work to safe practises
• Other duties as and when required

Desired experience:

• You must have a HNC or BTEC Electrical Qualification as a minimum to be considered for the this role
• Must have experience within a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Ideally have at least 3 years' experience within in a manufacturing environment previously
• Must be able to work within a team and on own initiative
• Must have experience of working with breakdowns and PPM’s
• Must be able to fault find
• Ideally have PLC knowledge as new system will be implemented
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
