Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Multi Skilled Static Engineer (Electrical Bias) to assist with repairs and maintenance in a commercial building in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have the 18th Edition of IEE wiring, experience with electrical and plumbing works, and be capable of working with HVAC systems. This full-time role involves a 40-hour work week with responsibilities including emergency lighting, servicing, and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in operative, repair and maintenance within a commercial building.
  • Perform emergency lighting and L8 water monitoring.
  • Service and maintain AHU and fan coil systems.
  • Handle minor electrical works and basic plumbing tasks.

Skills

Experience in related roles
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
Understanding of basic plumbing or HVAC systems
Experience with BEMS systems
Ability to read schematic drawings

Education

18th Edition of IEE wiring
Recognised apprenticeships preferred
Possess a recognised trade

Job description

PPM Recruitment are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Static Engineer (Electrical Bias) in Manchester.

You will be responsible for assisting in the operative, repair and maintenance within a commercial building.

Duties include not exclusive to:

  • Emergency lighting
  • L8 water monitoring
  • AHU Servicing and maintenance
  • Fan coil service and maintenance
  • Pump servicing
  • Minor electrical works
  • Basic plumbing including taps, syphons, flush valves, waste pipework
  • Statutory PPMs in line with SFG20

Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in related roles
  • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
  • Understanding of basic plumbing or HVAC systems
  • Experience with BEMS systems
  • Must be able to read schematic drawings

Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition of IEE wiring
  • Recognised apprenticeships preferred
  • Posses a recognised trade

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week
