DS Smith plc is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Site Engineering Technician for the Fordham site. The role focuses on maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

You will deliver a world-class maintenance service within a fast-paced environment, supporting production and safety initiatives. The position involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and close collaboration with production teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering and managing preventative maintenance programmes.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site assets.
• Ensure equipment complies with safety legislation, inspections, and testing requirements.
• Track reliability data, identify trends, and support improvements.
• Lead fault-finding to minimise downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with production, OEMs and contractors to resolve technical issues.
