Job description

Are you looking to advance your engineering career in a role that offers stability and growth?Our client is currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their dedicated engineering team at a prestigious corporate site in Northampton.

The Role

• As the Multi skilled Shift Engineer, you’ll: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure compliance and efficiency across all site systems.
• Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues promptly to minimise operational downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults including lighting, power systems, distribution boards, control panels, and emergency lighting.
• Support mechanical maintenance as needed, including pumps, HVAC systems, valves, and motors.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation via the site’s CAFM system.

You

• To be successful in the role of Multi skilled Shift Engineer, you’ll bring: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation / Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
• Proven experience in a similar electrical-biased multiskilled engineering role.
• Good understanding of building systems including HVAC, lighting, and power distribution.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.
