Job summary

PROMAN is seeking a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical bias) for Canary Wharf, London. The role covers two 12-hour continental shifts (06:30-18:30 and 18:30-06:30) with days and nights rotation, focusing on critical M&E infrastructure and building services.

The successful candidate will carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance, supervise contractors, and manage Permits to Work, RAMS reviews, and CAFM records. Immediate starts; temp to perm opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must be a time-served electrical engineer or equivalent.
• C&G BS7671 or equivalent qualification.
• HVAP qualification.
• Experience with Permit to Work systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical building services.
• Experience with L8 ACOP compliance.
• Ability to supervise contractors and review RAMS.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or similar) desirable.
• IPAF 3A/3B, 2391 Inspection & Testing, Confined Space & Mechanical qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervising subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe working practices.
• Supporting critical building incidents and emergency response.

Salary equivalent of £50,336 + £5,000 shift allowance
