Job summary

Right Match Recruitment Group is recruiting for an experienced and forward thinking Multi-skilled Production/Machine Operator for a busy packing hall in Rainham, East London. This is a full-time permanent role with a rotating double day shift and progression opportunities.

You will set up and run production machines, support engineers, and ensure safety, quality and efficient packaging. Salary: £33,212 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled production/machine operator.
• Ability to operate forklift when trained.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety standards
• Maintaining the efficiency of the production line
• Overseeing the quality of the product
• Controlling packaging waste
• Ensuring cleanliness of the production line machinery
• Completing paperwork to the company specification
• Rectifying minor breakdowns of line machinery
• Operating a forklift truck (training provided)
• Assisting engineers on major breakdowns
• General housekeeping duties
