Job summary

Right Match Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Multi-skilled Machine Operator for a long-term role in Rainham, East London. The position is full-time with a rotating double day shift (06:00-14:00 and 13:45-21:45, plus Friday 06:00-13:00 and 12:45-19:45).

Salary is £33,212 per year, with responsibilities across machine setup, production line efficiency, and quality control. The job involves operating forklifts and PPTs (training provided), adhering to health and safety standards, and

Qualifications

Experience as a multi-skilled machine operator.
Experience with forklift truck operation.
Ability to follow health and safety standards.
Capable of ensuring production line efficiency.
Ability to complete paperwork to company specs.
Willingness to assist engineers during breakdowns.

Responsibilities

Follow good Health and Safety Standards.
Ensure the efficiency of the production line.
Oversee the quality of the product.
Control packaging waste.
Ensure cleanliness of the production line machinery.
Ensure paperwork relevant to the product is completed to the company specification.
Rectify minor breakdowns of line machinery.
Operate a forklift truck & PPT (Training given).
Assist the engineers on major breakdowns when required.
General house keeping duties.
