Multi-Skilled Plumbing Repairs Technician

Location: Chesham, High Wycombe, plus travel

Salary: £39,968 + Excellent Benefits

Join our growing Property Services Team at Paradigm Housing Group. Due to significant growth and recent large property acquisitions, we are excited to announce two newly created full-time, permanent contracts within our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). We are looking for experienced, multi-skilled plumbers who are passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service. This is an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, values-driven housing provider that prioritizes people—our customers and our employees.

What You'll Do

• Carry out a variety of plumbing and general maintenance tasks to a high standard, aiming for first-time fixes.
• Utilize multi-trade experience, including carpentry, kitchen, and bathroom fitting.
• Represent Paradigm professionally in residents' homes, ensuring respectful and courteous interactions.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, reporting concerns promptly.
• Manage van stock efficiently and minimize material waste.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Support apprentices and team members with guidance and mentoring.
• Participate in our on-call rota for out-of-hours support (not essential).

What You'll Bring

• Relevant trade qualifications (City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Carpentry or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a plumber, with additional skills in carpentry, including kitchen and bathroom fitting, door hanging, and general woodwork repairs.
• A full UK driving license (preferably clean).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• A sound understanding of health and safety practices.
