Daniel Owen are looking for Multi Trade Operative (Plasterer as primary trade) for our clients damp and mold team within Social Housing Properties in Birmingham

Location: Birmingham
Agency: Daniel Owen Recruitment
Position: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: 23.00 per hour (Self Employed)
Benefits: Long term position, Van included and Fuel Card.

About the Role
Daniel Owen is currently seeking experienced Multi Skilled Operatives to join our team working within live environments in and around Birmingham.

Job Responsibilities & Required Experience:

• We are seeking experienced candidates with a multi-trade background, with essential plastering experience. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various elements such as doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and performing general handyman duties to ensure the functionality of these areas.

• Your work will involve performing general maintenance and refurbishments in tenanted properties. This includes handling tasks from basic repairs to alternative refurbishments.

• You will be using job tickets or a handheld device linked to a live, shared system to track and manage your daily tasks.

• As a self-motivated individual, you will be trusted to manage your own workload and complete jobs efficiently.

• Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that you respect the customer's home and leave each job with a high level of satisfaction.

• A Full UK driving license is required for this role.

• A DBS check will be required as part of the role.

About You:

• Ideally, you will hold a Plastering qualification and have the ability to work across multiple trades. However, further training (including Health and Safety) will be provided.

• More importantly, we are looking for someone who takes initiative, identifies solutions, and ensures that tasks are completed on time, delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
