Job description

Multi Skilled Paint Technician

OTE: £48,000

Basic Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm - Mon - Fri

Location: Derby

We are seeking a talented and efficient Multi Skilled Paint Technician to join our leading team. As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for painting and repairing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications, using modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Paint Technician

1. Perform warranty, transit damage, and used car repairs using factory-approved products and techniques.
2. Ensure all repairs meet high-quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Recognized apprenticeship and a technical qualification such as NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, or ATA.
2. Previous experience in a similar role within a busy body shop, with a strong team spirit.
3. High standards of workmanship and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
4. Ability to produce high-quality body repairs from start to finish.
5. City & Guilds qualification or equivalent; ATA qualification is desirable but not essential.
