Job summary

AB World Foods in Leigh is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator to join the Ready to Eat (RTE) team. You will work on the packing and processing of finished goods on a 6pm–6am shift, operating packing machinery and completing the necessary paperwork to ensure dispatch-ready products.

The role emphasizes GMP, Health & Safety compliance, and a commitment to safe, hygienic and cost-efficient manufacturing. You will collaborate with the Team and stakeholders to raise performance and quality.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ready to Eat (RTE) team, who make our world class pappadum’s, in a role responsible for packing and processing finished goods. This role is on a continuous 6pm-6am shift pattern.

What's the role about?

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Multi Skilled Operator is primarily based within the packing end of production. They are responsible for running various pieces of packing machinery and processing the finished goods, ready for dispatch.
All tasks will be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient, and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.
