Start and finish times:
8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am

A quick look at the role.

To operate and monitor machinery including a Forklift (training is provided) to a safe and satisfactory standard, communicate any problems or obstacles to immediate supervisor, Strive to reduce waste and increase productivity across all lines & Support your shift colleagues in achieving excellence in health and safety, product quality, asset performance and employee engagement on shift.

Your core responsibilities.

  • Monitor and manage waste sorting and recycling operations, adhering to environmental compliance and safety standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
