Multi Skilled Operative (Roofing)

Spennymoor.

Salary: £28,850.68 per annum.

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 5PM, Wednesday 21st May 2025

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Multi Skilled Operative with a Roofing discipline to join Bernicia’s Property Maintenance and Construction department.

About the Multi Skilled Labourer (Roofing) Role

This role involves:

• Assisting trade staff in undertaking various tasks related to this position, servicing both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard, with a focus on excellent customer service.

Your Experience

Successful candidates will need:

• Experience of working at height
• Approximately 3 years of on-site training
• CSCS card appropriate to the role
• Experience working within commercial and domestic property environments
• Experience working in target-driven environments
• Ability to adapt to change, contribute positively, and communicate effectively
• Competency in multi-skilled trades
• Understanding of risk assessments
• Ability to interpret and deliver work according to construction drawings
• Sound knowledge of building construction, components, and trades
