Job Description:

Multi Skilled Operative - Leyton

A labourer/handyman is needed for a long-term, full-time position in the Leyton area, working with one of the UK's largest Property Security, Maintenance, and Management companies.

Duties will include:

• Driving the team van when required.
• Installing and removing steel doors, screens, and Perma steel in residential and commercial buildings across the southeast region.
• Performing tasks as requested by the supervisor.
• Fitting and installing security products.
• Cleaning and clearing vacant social housing properties, including interior and exterior gardens after tenants vacate.
• Removing old/damaged outbuildings/sheds from gardens.
• Trimming hedges and grassed garden areas.
• Removing debris from gardens, yards, and driveways.
• Delivering and retrieving security keys.
• Performing any other tasks as directed by the site manager.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Hours may vary due to travel but will be paid accordingly.

The roles will become permanent after a 13-week probation period if all goes well. Training will be provided.

Additional Information:

• Coverage across the southeast region; not limited to Leyton.
• Candidates will need to complete an induction.
• This is a demanding and physical role.
• Initial pay rate is £14.87 per hour.
• Upon permanent employment, the rate will be £13.27 per hour, with annual leave, BH, and other benefits.
• Reliability is essential.
• This role involves property clearance, which can vary from easy to challenging conditions.
