Job Description - Multi Skilled Operative (251104)

Position: Multi Skilled Operative

Location: Working across properties in the North East

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call rota)

Salary: £31,127 per annum plus van, generous on-call allowance, and benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical Day:

  • Complete all allocated jobs right first time, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize skills across various trades such as joinery, carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, groundwork, and basic plumbing to improve first-time fix rates.
  • Deliver high-quality, compliant work.
  • Work across properties in the North East, with scheduled jobs to ensure clarity on daily tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in multiple building trades, including joinery, carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, groundwork, or plumbing.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to use initiative.
  • Full valid driving license, as a company van will be provided for work and commuting.

Additional Information:

  • Role involves working Monday to Friday and participating in an out-of-hours rota with additional on-call payments.
  • Based in Belmont, Durham, with work across the North East.
  • Ability to use technology for logging jobs, online learning, and collaboration.
  • Basic DBS check required, paid for by us.
