A community-focused company is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative for its Tower Hamlets branch in London. In this role, you will conduct high-standard repairs and refurbishment activities while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates should have experience in plumbing, painting, and carpentry along with a UK driving license. Competitive salary, benefits including a company vehicle and 25 days annual leave.
Salary up to £39,627 per annum, plus company vehicle & fuel card

Mears provides tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations, and Housing Associations.
About the Role:
A Multi Skilled Operative within our Tower Hamlets branch will support residents with responsive repairs across our portfolio of properties, working on a planned route. You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to housing properties, delivering excellent customer service and meeting all safety, quality, and cost control standards. You should have a certified core trade, with the ability to deliver additional trade activities to support timely repair and refurbishment works, following standard operating procedures. You will take ownership of construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs, aiming for first-time completion within budget and time constraints.
Role Criteria:
To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
All roles require the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently sponsor visas.
