Mears Group PLC is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Operative in Liverpool to conduct responsive repairs across social housing properties. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and more, with a focus on quality, safety, and resident service.
You will work on-site across properties, manage daily workloads, and attend emergency rotas as needed. A NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and a full UK driving license are required, with benefits including a company van and fuel card.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours, 8:00am-5:00pm
Salary: £33,727.33 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team, supporting a busy responsive repairs contract. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across a range of trades, ensuring residents’ homes are safe, functional, and well cared for.
You’ll be working across properties, responding to day-to-day repair requests that cover carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and more. No two days are the same, and your ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver excellent customer service will be key to your success.
