With 30 years of delivering market-leading repairs, refurbishment, fire safety and building maintenance services, Mears is trusted to deliver in excess of 6,000 housing repairs daily to a portfolio of more than 1,000,000 homes nationwide.
About the role:
As a Multi Skilled Operative you will be assisting with site preparation and clean-up, handling materials safely, and supporting skilled tradespeople in retrofit activities. You will be expected to conduct repairs, including supporting works around retrofit/energy measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintaining high work quality and attention to detail is crucial, as is collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines. You'll report issues to the site supervisor, participate in site meetings, and take initiative in tasks. Providing excellent customer care, working at heights, and processing tasks electronically using a PDA are also key aspects of the role. Professional communication and maintaining high standards of health and safety are essential to ensure a positive customer experience.
Key Criteria:

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
