Qualifications

• Valid loading shovel licence or 360 grab required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
• Experience in mobile plant operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain trucks using daily check sheets.
• Ensure housekeeping tasks are followed.
• Load and unload vehicles per procedures.
• Keep yard area clear and safe.

Mobile Plant Operative

Salary: £33,094.48 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 48 hours per week Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Location: Chittening Industrial Estate, Bristol, BS11 0YB

What will you be doing?

• Maintain trucks by following daily check sheets.
  
• To complete tasks assigned to the job holder as per the housekeeping programme.
  
• Make sure the bale line is clear at all times.
  
• To rotate stock as directed.
  
• Load / unload vehicles as per Company procedures and SSW's.
  
• Report any defects/damage/problems in the factory, yard or to equipment.
  
• Keep the yard floor area clear and tidy maintaining access for vehicles at all times
  
• Check for safety hazards on a regular basis and report
  

What we're looking for;


Essential:

• Loading Shovel licence or 360 Grab
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Be able to work as part of a team.
  

Desirable:

• Other Mobile plant experience,
  
• Experience using Cherry Picker and FLT including Bale Clamps are desirable but full training will be given.
