Mears Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative in Birmingham to perform a range of repairs across tenanted properties. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating, delivering high-quality work with attention to safety and customer service.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract with a salary of up to £37,000, plus a company van and fuel card, with opportunities for overtime and optional out-of-hours calls.

There is also an optional out-of-hours call rota, providing the chance to further enhance your overall earnings.** **Join us on our new, exciting contract with Birmingham City Council**Mears Group has been awarded a major new 10-year partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver repairs, maintenance, and planned investment work across 11,500 homes in central and west Birmingham. This contract represents one of our most significant projects in the city and will create a wide range of opportunities across our operational teams. **About the Role:**We are looking for multi skilled operatives to join our team in Birmingham. You will be carrying out a variety of property maintenance tasks, including painting, plastering, brickwork, carpentry, tiling, silicone/mastic works, groundworks and minor plumbing in tenanted properties. The role requires a delivering high-quality repairs and installations across domestic properties.With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to improving social housing standards, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in the community.
