Recruit4staff are representing a leading facilities management business in their search for a Mobile Building Services Engineer to work in Newcastle.

Job Details

• Pay: £38,000 per annum OTE £42,000 plus
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm, with on-call rota (1 week in 7)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role

The Mobile Building Services Engineer will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns across a range of commercial properties. Typical issues include M&E faults, HVAC systems, fire alarms, plumbing issues, BMS faults, and general building fabric repairs. The role includes investigating problems on site, resolving them directly or arranging for parts and follow-up visits. The engineer will also follow planned servicing schedules, particularly for lighting, emergency lighting, BMS, and water systems. Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota is expected (1 week in 7).
