Job Title:

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a varied, wide ranging role across a 1.6km production facility, working with a leading manufacturer?

Purpose of Role:

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Facilities) you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical facility related systems and assets across site. This role involves carrying out diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, performing preventative maintenance tasks, managing contractors, issuing permits to work, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This day shift position will also involve project support to both Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• To supervise contractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• To manage RAMS/permits and schedules for efficient maintenance and installation tasks.
• To promote safety culture among team, following safety standards and regulations.
• To support with factory moves and layout alterations.
• To obtain quotes for any components spares & tools required to the task assigned.
• To use mobile access equipment such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
• To carry out Lock-Off procedures
• To drive forklift trucks
• To conduct routine inspections of all mechanical facility related systems such as HVAC.
• To perform preventative maintenance on facility related non-electrical equipment and assets.
• To diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, and structural issues.
• To coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
• To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• To respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• To manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• To assist in the setup and dismantling of office spaces and equipment.
• To work in a safe manner by driving positive behaviour and leading by example with regards to the Company’s health and safety policies.
• To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected.
