Job summary

Unipart is expanding its Coventry site and seeks a proactive Maintenance Technician (Multi-Skilled) to support high-volume manufacturing. You will handle breakdown responses, perform preventative maintenance, and keep automation lines and moulding inputs available.

The role emphasizes safety, TPM checks, and close collaboration with operators and engineers. The position requires an apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical maintenance, plus hands-on experience in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Hands-on ability to trace electrical faults and perform mechanical repairs.
• Strong focus on safety practices including LOTO and RAMS.

Responsibilities

• First-Line Breakdown Response with root-cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly Planned Maintenance routines and TPM checks.
• Repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Assist with PLC, sensor, and robotics fault diagnosis to keep lines running.
• Adhere to SHE procedures including LOTO and risk assessments.
