Job summary

Une entreprise manufacturière en pleine expansion recherche un Technicien de Maintenance Multi-compétences pour maintenir et améliorer les équipements de production. Le candidat idéal doit posséder un certificat BTEC/ONC et avoir au moins deux ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire. Les responsabilités incluent le diagnostic des équipements, la maintenance préventive et la collaboration avec l'équipe de production. Une formation pourra être offerte pour le développement professionnel.

Qualifications

• Expérience récente de deux ans post-apprentissage exigée.
• Connaissances en machinerie électro-pneumatique contrôlée par PLC.
• Capable de travailler sous pression en équipe.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostiquer et rectifier les pannes sur les équipements de production.
• Effectuer la maintenance programmée selon le CMMS.
• Travailler en équipe de production et communiquer les problèmes.

Job description

Zenith People are excited to be working with our client who are an expanding North-East based Manufacturer and are recruiting for Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians on a permanent basis.

The main purpose the role is to proactively maintain and improve production equipment across the plant.

Main duties include but are not limited to

• Diagnosing and rectifying faults on production equipment
• Perform thorough maintenance as scheduled by the CMMS
• Work as part of the Production shift team communicating issues to other Technicians and Engineers
• Complete shift log, detailing all relevant information to ensure continuation and/or review of repair.
• Assisting with the commissioning, development and improvement of production equipment
• Some overtime working is expected
• Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required.

Candidate Profile

• Time served & qualified to a minimum level of BTEC ONC is Essential
• Be willing to undergo training as identified through Engineers/Team Leaders.
• Help to develop and improve PPM s

Knowledge and Experience Required

• At least two years recent post apprenticeship experience
• Candidates should have experience in a similar role including a good knowledge of Electro - Pneumatic machinery which is PLC controlled
• Experience in FMCG. Not heavy industry
• Capable of machining to
• Mechanical or Electrical bias but Multi skilled
• Good diagnostic/problem solving and communication skills
• The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and assist in prioritization where applicable.
• Ability to perform when under pressure.

Hours of work

Continental Shift Pattern working 6am until 6pm and 6pm to 6am working 12 hour shifts on a 4 weekly rotation. Average working week is 42 hours per week with every other weekend off.
