About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a high-performing maintenance team within a dynamic and fast-growing renewable energy business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who is looking to make an impact by ensuring plant reliability, equipment performance, and operational safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Complete inspection and testing routines in line with the maintenance plan.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns to maintain plant uptime and safe operations.
  • Record maintenance data accurately and promptly in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Contribute to root cause analysis to help prevent equipment failures.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices at all times.
  • Support with the development of SOPs and RAs where required.
  • Follow inventory and stores procedures, including logging parts and consumables in the CMMS.
  • Take part in operator training and ongoing professional development.
  • Support integration of site capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by reporting unsafe acts/conditions and following established safety programs.

What We re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical trade background
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar maintenance role
  • Understanding of SOPs, RAs, and safe working practices
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Clear and effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Valid UK driving license
