Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems at the East Kilbride Depot.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance; swift resolution of system breakdowns; defect repairs; upkeep and optimization of depot facilities and automation systems.
  • Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
  • Engage and manage external contractors.
  • Immediate response to breakdowns for production equipment in line with production hours.
  • Assist and manage delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.
  • Stand and walk for most of the shift; ability to lift up to 15 kg; bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.
Qualifications
  • Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
  • Experience working in a maintenance department.
  • Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
  • Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Desirable: IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of management of a technical team.
